Would you like to become a member of Cassio? We welcome anyone who loves theatre whatever your age (16+), whether you want to perform in our shows, work backstage or love costumes, props and so on. Here are the details of different membership options.

Performing Membership

Performing Membership entitles you to audition to perform in our shows, attend and vote at the AGM, receive copies of our newsletter, receive information regarding activities of the group and be invited to all social functions. To become a performing member you are required to attend a singing and performing audition and where successful, pay the current annual subscription of £40.

Non-Performing Membership

If you love theatre and want to get involved but not necessarily on stage this is the membership for you. As a non-performing member you are entitled to all of the same privileges as a Performing Member but are not eligible to perform in any production. The annual subscription fee is £20.

Student Membership

Are you between 16 and 18 years of age or in full time education? Our student membership is £20 per year and entitles you to all of the same privileges as a performing member. You will also be required to successfully attend a singing and performing audition.

Friends of Cassio

We welcome anyone who wishes to become a friend of our society. Please help us by becoming a Friend. Cassio is a charity and exists because of the support of its members and a wider community who donate to help us to continue to do our work and produce shows. Friends are asked to make an annual donation of £10 and enjoy the same privileges as a non-performing member but are not eligible to vote at the AGM. We will be delighted to welcome you to our social events and shows.
